S&S Cycle 08-16 Touring Super Stock 79cc Cylinder Head Kit - Silver

This kit includes a pair of S&S Cycle Super Stock high-performance cylinder heads, finished in silver powder coat to match your stock engine components. These heads are built for stock displacement or slightly modified 2006-2016 Touring engines up to 110 cubic inches. The 79cc combustion chamber is designed to give you a higher compression ratio than stock, which helps improve low and midrange power response. They are also machined to accept S&S electric or manual compression releases.

Inside, you'll find moderately sized 1.940-inch intake valves and 1.575-inch exhaust valves. This sizing is important because it helps maintain port velocity, especially in smaller displacement engines, leading to better response down low and in the middle of the RPM range. The included high-performance valve springs are strong enough to handle camshafts with up to .650-inch lift, giving you flexibility for further engine modifications. These heads are designed to work with your stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds, making installation more straightforward.

It's important to note that these Super Stock heads will not work with the stock Harley-Davidson Automatic Compression Release (ACR) system found on later Twin Cam models. If your bike has HD ACRs, you'll need to use the S&S compression releases instead, as attempting to tie into the stock HD wiring can cause damage to the heads and engine. These heads are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
