S&S Cycle 99-06 BT T124 Long Block Engine w/ 585 Cam - Silver

S&S Cycle is well-known for building high-performance V-twin motorcycle engines and components. This T124 Long Block engine is a prime example, offering a significant upgrade for your 1999-2006 Harley-Davidson big twin (excluding 2006 Dyna models). It's designed to give you that sought-after big displacement power while maintaining a level of flexibility that makes it a solid choice for a wide range of builds.

This engine features a 124 cubic inch displacement with a 4-5/8" stroke and a 4-1/8" bore, resulting in a 10.2:1 compression ratio. This compression level is slightly lower than some of S&S's higher-performance T124 variants, making it more forgiving with different fuel qualities and a good option if you're running a heavier bike or simply want a bit more tolerance. It comes equipped with S&S 585 gear drive Easy Start cams for reliable performance and easier starting, along with an S&S TC3 cam plate and oil pump for improved oiling. The silver powder coat finish is designed to match your stock engine components for a cohesive look.

Because this is a Long Block, it doesn't include the fuel or ignition systems, allowing you to customize it for either carbureted or Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) setups. If you already have performance parts like a larger carburetor, throttle body, or EFI tuner, you can often reuse them. The cylinder heads are specially machined to accommodate the longer cylinders, ensuring that stock-length manifolds or throttle bodies will fit without issue, and the breather setup is compatible with air cleaners designed for stock engines. Please note that stock, non-programmable engine management systems are not recommended for an engine of this size, and this engine is not compatible with Harley-Davidson Softail models.
