S&S Cycle is well-known for making performance engine components for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This Super Stock cylinder head kit is a prime example, offering a significant upgrade over stock heads for 1966 through 1978 Big Twin models. While they maintain a stock-like appearance, these heads are designed to flow much better than original equipment, which can help your engine breathe easier and perform more strongly.

This kit is built to handle more aggressive camshafts, featuring S&S valve springs that can accommodate lifts up to .590 inches. They are machined for a single spark plug per head and are designed to accept 3-5/8 inch bore cylinders, making them a direct fit for S&S SH-Series engines and a solid upgrade for stock Shovelheads. A notable change from stock is the use of 5/16"-18 cap screws to fasten the rocker boxes, rather than the original studs and nuts. The natural aluminum finish gives a clean, classic look.

When you open the box, you'll find everything you need to get these heads installed. The kit includes both the front and rear cylinder head assemblies, along with rocker box gaskets, copper head gaskets, exhaust gaskets, and all the necessary hardware.
