Product Details
UMI Performance's 90081 conversion brackets are designed to help you swap a modern GM LT direct injection engine into a vehicle originally set up for a GM LS (Gen III/IV) engine. These brackets precisely position the LT engine so that its crankshaft and bellhousing sit in the exact same spot as the factory LS engine. This makes the swap much simpler, as you won't have to re-engineer your drivetrain or exhaust routing to accommodate a different engine position.
These brackets are CNC machined from solid 6061 T6 billet aluminum, which is a strong yet lightweight material. They're then anodized for extra protection against corrosion. UMI manufactures these brackets in the USA using US materials. You can pair these conversion brackets with UMI's 2328 or 2329 engine mounts, or with GM's 22179268 mounts, to complete the engine mounting setup.
