UMI Performance 78-88 GM G-Body Engine Side Solid Engine Mounts

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension and drivetrain parts for American muscle cars. For your 1978-1988 GM G-Body, these solid engine mounts replace the factory clamshell style. They're designed to hold your Small Block Chevy in the exact factory position, and they can handle a lot of horsepower thanks to their tough 3/16” thick steel construction and Grade 8 hardware.

When you use these solid mounts, especially with UMI's P/N 90051 solid mounts, you'll notice improved responsiveness and less engine movement. This can be a big help when you're trying to fit large headers or turbo components. They are proudly used on UMI's own G-Body test car, the 1979 Monte Carlo “Green Machine,” and are manufactured in Philipsburg, PA. Keep in mind that solid mounts are best suited for racing applications and may increase noise and vibration inside the cabin. They may also not work with Oldsmobile or Pontiac engines.
