UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body K-Member W/o Mounting Options - Black

This is the UMI Performance tubular K-member assembly, designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. If you're looking to shed some front-end weight and gain more room for exhaust or engine swaps, this part is a solid choice. It's built to handle everything from daily driving to aggressive track use, including drag strip and autocross events.

UMI fabricated this K-member using CNC machined 3/16-inch thick mild steel for the main mounting points, all held together by strong 1-1/2-inch DOM tubing. This dual-tube construction not only adds strength but also provides extra clearance for aftermarket exhaust systems. The design is modular, meaning you can use it with stock springs and struts, or remove the spring pockets to fit coil-over shocks. It bolts directly to factory or aftermarket engine and suspension mounts, and the precision machining ensures an easy installation. This assembly is about 20 pounds lighter than the stock K-member.
