UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body K-Member W/o Mounting Options - Red

By swapping out the factory K-member for this lighter, stronger unit, you're instantly removing about 20 pounds from the front end, which helps your existing horsepower work more effectively.

This K-member is constructed from CNC machined 3/16-inch thick mild steel, with a strong dual-tube lower section made from 1-1/2-inch diameter DOM tubing. It's MIG and TIG welded for a clean look and solid strength. The design includes precision machined mounting pads for factory or aftermarket engine and clamshell mounts, and boxed mounting points for suspension components. There are even lightening holes machined into the mounting plates. This modular design means you can use it with stock springs and struts, or remove the spring pockets to convert to coil-overs. It also offers added clearance for aftermarket exhaust systems.

This K-member is jig-built for a hassle-free installation and comes in a durable red powdercoat finish. It includes six new Grade 10.9 mounting bolts.
