UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body Torque Arm Relocation Kit- TH350

If you're putting a TH350 automatic transmission into your 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird, this torque arm relocation kit from UMI Performance is designed to make the job much simpler. What you get in this kit is a well-built transmission cross-member that has the correct mounting points for the TH350, and it also includes an integrated mount for your factory-style torque arm. This means you won't need to buy any extra brackets for the torque arm itself, and it's set up to work with most aftermarket torque arms that bolt into the stock location, as well as the factory torque arm.

The engineers at UMI Performance built this cross-member using DOM mild steel tubing and 0.188-inch thick steel mounting plates, with the torque arm mount itself machined from 0.250-inch thick steel. It features a new clamshell for securely attaching the torque arm. A nice touch is the instant center adjustment, which lets you move the front of the torque arm up or down to fine-tune its position. Importantly, this kit is a 100% bolt-in installation; it uses the existing holes where your stock cross member was, so there's no drilling, cutting, or welding required. Plus, it tucks up tight against the chassis, so it won't affect your vehicle's ground clearance.
