UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body Tubular K-member Coil Over

If you're looking to shed some front-end weight and improve your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro's performance, this tubular K-member from UMI Performance is a solid choice. It's designed as a direct bolt-in replacement, meaning you can swap out the heavier stock K-member for this lighter, stronger unit without major fabrication. This part is especially useful if you're building a car for the drag strip, autocross, or just want a more responsive feel on the street.

This K-member is well-built using CNC machined 3/16” thick mild steel for the mounting points and 1-1/2” DOM tubing for the main structure. The dual tube construction adds strength, and the design includes lightening holes to further reduce weight. It's designed to work with coil-over suspension setups right out of the box, offering added clearance for aftermarket exhaust systems. If you decide later you want to use stock-style springs, you can convert it by purchasing UMI's spring perch kit. It also accepts LS engine mounts with an adapter kit, making it versatile for engine swaps.

This K-member is MIG and TIG welded for a clean look and strong joints. It comes with six new Grade 10.9 mounting bolts and is finished in a durable red or black powdercoat.
