This UMI Performance drive shaft loop is made for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. It’s designed to help keep your driveshaft contained in the event of a failure, meeting NHRA requirements for safety. This is a smart addition if you're pushing your F-body hard or making significant drivetrain upgrades.
The two-piece design is a notable improvement, offering better clearance than older versions. You can install this loop without needing to remove your exhaust or torque arm, making the job much simpler. It routes above the exhaust system for maximum clearance and even works with full-length torque arms. It also utilizes the factory tunnel mount location, and can be used with some tunnel mounts by spacing down 3/16 inch.
This drive shaft loop is made in the USA and is NHRA approved, giving you peace of mind. It's a well-built component that adds an important safety layer to your vehicle's drivetrain.
