UMI Performance 93-02 GM F-Body K-member- No Motor Mounts

This is the UMI Performance K-member assembly, designed specifically for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. If you're looking to upgrade your front suspension geometry, gain clearance for headers or turbo piping, or simply shed some weight from the front end, this K-member is a solid choice. It's built to work with motor plates and comes without motor mount stands, offering a clean setup for custom engine installations. It also includes mounts for your power steering rack, compatible with both factory power steering and manual racks that use the original power steering mount locations.

Constructed from strong 1.500” x 0.120” DOM seamless steel tubing for the main center section and 1.250” x 0.120” DOM tubing for the cross braces, this K-member is built to last. Both TIG and MIG welding are used to ensure superior strength and durability. The front and rear control arm mounts are CNC machined from 0.188" thick steel and gusseted for extreme loads, while all mounting plates are CNC machined for precise hole-to-hole accuracy, ensuring a factory fitment without the need for grinding or cutting. The dual tube center section adds extra strength compared to other designs, and the rear main cross tube is lowered to provide better oil pan protection. This assembly also features lengthened a-arm slots by 1/2" for more adjustment when setting up your alignment.

One of the notable benefits of this K-member is the weight reduction; it's approximately 30lbs lighter than the factory K-member, which helps improve your vehicle's overall performance. It comes standard in bare metal, but you can opt for a durable red or black powder coat finish for added protection and a custom look. The factory locator pins are included to make installation straightforward and ensure an exact fit.
