UMI Performance 93-02 GM F-Body K-Member SBC/BBC Motor Mounts

If you're swapping a traditional small block or big block Chevrolet engine into your 1993-2002 Camaro or Firebird, this tubular K-member from UMI Performance is a solid foundation. It's designed to make that engine installation smoother by providing the necessary mounting points and improving clearance where you'll need it most.

This K-member is built from strong DOM seamless steel tubing, with a beefy 1.500” x 0.120” main center tube and 1.250” x 0.120” cross braces. Both TIG and MIG welding are used throughout for a well-built structure that can handle the demands of a powerful V8. The A-arm mounts are CNC machined from thick steel and gusseted to resist extreme forces, and the dual tube center section adds even more strength. UMI fixtures weld every piece to ensure it bolts right up to your F-body chassis without needing extra grinding or cutting, and it even includes the factory locator pins for precise alignment. You'll also find standard power steering rack mounts already integrated. This design automatically shaves about 25 pounds off the front end compared to the stock K-member, and the lowered rear cross tube helps protect your oil pan.

This K-member comes with integrated polyurethane motor mounts and fabricated mounting clam shells, designed for both weight savings and ease of installation. While this K-member is a direct bolt-in for the engine mounts, keep in mind that modifications to the firewall or other areas might be necessary for optimal engine clearance depending on your specific engine and header combination. It's finished in a durable powder coat, available in bright red or gloss black.
