UMI Performance 93-97 GM F-Body K-Member - LT1

The dual tube construction on this K-member, fabricated from 1-1/2” OD DOM steel tubing, adds significant strength over factory designs. This UMI Performance K-member is a direct bolt-in replacement for your 1993-1997 GM F-Body, including the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. It's designed to reduce front-end weight by 25lbs, which helps your existing horsepower work more effectively and improves your car's weight distribution for better launches and handling.

This K-member is built with 100% US steel and features a lower cross tube that's been repositioned to offer more clearance for your oil pan, protecting your expensive engine. The factory motor mounts bolt to 1/4” thick laser-cut stands, and the boxed A-arm mounts, made from 3/16” steel plate, are CNC laser cut. These A-arm mounts offer additional alignment adjustment compared to the factory setup, and the lengthened slots allow for more precise alignment tuning. The tubular design also provides extra clearance for aftermarket headers and turbo piping, making it a solid choice for modified setups.

This K-member has been race-proven in high-horsepower drag cars and is also suitable for daily drivers. It's available in a durable gloss red or gloss black powder coat finish. Combining this K-member with a set of tubular lower A-arms can save an additional 8lbs, for a total front-end weight reduction of 33lbs on your 4th Gen F-Body.
