UMI Performance 98-02 GM F-Body K-Member - LS1 - Road Race Version

If you're building a 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro for serious track duty, like auto-cross or road racing, you know how critical precise alignment is. This UMI Performance Road Race K-member is designed to give you that rock-solid alignment reliability, even during extreme cornering. It's built with a twin-tube design using 1-1/2” OD DOM seamless steel tubing for the main structure and 1-1/4” OD DOM tubing for additional bracing, making it a strong foundation for your front suspension.

What sets this K-member apart for road racing is its updated adjustment plates. These feature a bulletproof locking mechanism that keeps your lower A-arms locked into position, ensuring your alignment stays put lap after lap. You get five positions of adjustment directly on the K-member, in addition to the adjustments available with UMI lower control arms. This K-member also incorporates integrated motor mounts for maximum weight reduction and has a lowered rear main cross tube to offer better oil pan protection and clearance for headers or turbo piping. It's fixture welded to ensure a direct fit without needing modifications, and it automatically shaves about 22 pounds off your front end.
