UMI Performance 98-02 GM F-Body Torque Arm Relocation Kit- TH350

Installing a TH350 automatic transmission into your 1998-2002 Camaro or Firebird just got simpler with this torque arm relocation kit from UMI Performance. This kit includes a new crossmember with an integrated torque arm mount, designed specifically to accommodate the TH350 transmission while still allowing the use of a factory-style torque arm.

The crossmember is constructed from DOM mild steel tubing with 0.188” mild steel mounting plates and a 0.250” thick mild steel torque arm mount. It features a new clamshell for securely attaching the torque arm. This design allows for instant center adjustment by moving the front of the torque arm up or down, and it works with virtually any stock-style aftermarket torque arm, as well as the factory torque arm. Importantly, this crossmember tucks tight against the chassis and does not affect ground clearance. It also typically saves weight over the stock unit while offering improved structural strength.

This kit is a 100% bolt-in installation, utilizing existing holes and requiring no drilling, cutting, or welding. It replaces the stock crossmember directly. Please note that this kit must be used with a solid one-piece polyurethane bushing; it will not work with the factory two-piece bushing. If you are using the stock torque arm, you will need to purchase an aftermarket polyurethane bushing separately.
