UMI Performance 98-02 GM F-Body Tubular K-Member - LS1

When you're looking to shed some front-end weight and improve your 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro's performance, this tubular K-member from UMI Performance is a solid choice. It directly replaces your factory K-member, shaving off about 25 pounds. This weight reduction means your existing horsepower works more effectively, and it also helps shift weight balance for better launches and handling.

UMI builds this K-member using 1-1/2 inch OD DOM steel tubing for the main cross tubes, and the boxed A-arm mounts are CNC laser cut from 3/16 inch steel plate. The dual tube construction in the lower section adds strength, and the design is race-proven in high-horsepower applications. It includes factory-location rack mounts and offers improved alignment adjustment over the stock setup. The tubular design also provides extra clearance for aftermarket headers and turbo piping, making it a great foundation for engine modifications.

This K-member is fabricated entirely in-house using 100% US steel and is available in a durable gloss red or gloss black powder coat finish. It's designed to bolt directly into place, simplifying installation.
