This Vibrant Vertical Flow Intercooler Core uses a bar and plate construction with a unique louvered fin design on the outside. This design helps to maximize the surface area that's exposed to airflow, which is key for cooling the compressed air from your turbo or supercharger. The core itself measures 22 inches wide, 14 inches high, and 4.5 inches thick, offering a substantial cooling capacity.

Inside the core, an offset fin design on the charge path is used. This setup is chosen to keep pressure loss to a minimum, even when you're running high boost levels in demanding race applications. The increased fin density means it can handle a lot of heat, making it a solid option for serious forced induction setups where efficient cooling is critical to performance and engine health.
