If you're looking to upgrade your 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax engine to a larger Borg Warner S400-style turbo, this kit from Wehrli is what you need. It's designed to swap out your stock IHI turbo and open up your engine's breathing for significant power gains. This kit focuses on airflow, replacing restrictive factory components with well-built, larger-diameter parts.

You'll get a new 5-inch fabricated aluminum intake system with a heavy-duty sheet metal air box and a high-performance dry filter, complete with a pre-filter cover. The intercooler plumbing gets a big upgrade too, with 3-inch diameter mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for both the hot and cold sides. Wehrli also includes their upgraded high-flow 3-inch fabricated billet Y-bridge, which replaces the stock upper intake manifold to ensure maximum horsepower and efficiency. The oil lines are high-quality stainless steel braided Parker lines, with the feed line routing directly from the engine block's main oil galley. The kit includes a T4 fabricated steel pedestal and spacer, designed to work with their 2-inch high-flow stainless steel up-pipes. The included high-temperature ceramic-coated turbo downpipe connects directly to your existing exhaust V-band clamp, meaning no cutting or modifications are needed for your exhaust system. A driver-side transmission dipstick tube is also included to make installing the downpipe easier.

This kit is designed to work with a variety of popular turbo sizes, which are sold separately. If you're not purchasing a Borg Warner turbo from Wehrli, be sure to provide the details of your chosen turbo so they can ensure proper fitment. In some cases, you may need to ship your separately supplied turbo to them for mock-up before they can build your kit. The order lead time begins once they have the necessary turbo in their possession. This kit includes all the necessary silicone boots, stainless steel T-bolt clamps, V-band clamps, and heat wrap for a complete installation.
