The increased diameter helps improve exhaust flow, which can lead to quicker turbo spool-up and a reduction in Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). It's designed to clear conventional downpipes when the turbo is mounted in the stock valley location, and it's fully TIG welded for a solid build. This pipe is intended for single turbo applications and is designed to work with either the OEM exhaust manifold or Wehrli's own billet exhaust manifolds. It also works well with Wehrli's downpipes, though other aftermarket downpipes might need modifications.
