Wehrli 01-04 Duramax LB7 S400 Single Turbo Install Kit - Brizzle Blue

This Wehrli Custom Fabrication S400 Single Turbo Install Kit is built for 2001-2004 Duramax LB7 6.6L diesel engines in Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 trucks, as well as GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 trucks. It's designed to help you swap out the stock IHI-style turbo for a larger BorgWarner S400 frame turbocharger. The kit upgrades your air intake system to a larger 5-inch fabricated aluminum intake with a heavy-duty sheet metal air box and a high-performance dry filter, complete with a pre-filter cover.

The kit replaces restrictive stock components with high-flow, 3-inch diameter, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for the intercooler hot and cold side charge pipes. It also includes an upgraded fabricated billet Y-bridge, which replaces the stock upper intake manifold to improve airflow into the engine for better horsepower and efficiency. For oil supply, the kit uses high-quality stainless steel braided Parker lines, with the feed line connecting to the main oil galley on the engine block. The turbo mounts to a T4 fabricated steel pedestal with a spacer, compatible with 2-inch high-flow stainless steel up-pipes. The included high-temperature ceramic-coated turbo downpipe connects directly to your existing exhaust front pipe V-band clamp, meaning no cutting or modifications are needed for your exhaust system. A driver-side transmission dipstick tube is also included to make installing the downpipe easier.

This kit comes in a distinctive Brizzle Blue powder coat finish. Please note that this kit is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. If you are not purchasing a Borg Warner turbo directly from Wehrli, you will need to provide the brand and details of your turbo so they can ensure proper fitment. In some cases, you may need to ship your separately supplied turbo to Wehrli for mock-up to build your kit, and the order lead time begins once they have your turbo.
