If you're working on your 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins engine, this 3.5-inch intake horn and driver-side intercooler pipe kit is a solid upgrade over the factory components. The stock plastic intercooler pipe and restrictive intake horn can be weak points, especially when you're looking for better airflow. This kit addresses those limitations directly.

This kit replaces the factory 3-inch plastic intercooler pipe with a heavy-duty 3.5-inch aluminum pipe. The factory intake horn, which necks down significantly, is swapped for a full mandrel-bent 3.5-inch elbow. This elbow is welded to a CNC-machined aluminum flange that mates perfectly with Wehrli's Grid Intake spacer kit, promoting better air distribution into the cylinder head. Even if you're using a different intake spacer or the stock grid heater, this setup offers a much smoother path for air. The machined flange includes two 1/8" NPT ports for boost reference gauges or water-methanol injection, plus an 8mm port for the factory wire harness clamp. There's also a dedicated bung to secure the oil dipstick tube, keeping things tidy.

Everything you need for a clean install is included. High-quality, 5-ply silicone boots and stainless steel T-bolt clamps connect the intercooler pipe to the intercooler and the pipe to the horn, so you won't need to reuse any old, worn-out factory rubber parts. The aluminum intake horn and intercooler pipe are finished with a durable gun metal powder coat. This is a bolt-on upgrade that doesn't require any tuning, and it offers about 60% greater flow than the stock setup.
