Wehrli 03-07 Cummins 5.9L D/S 3.5in. Intake Horn IC Pipe - Illusion Blueberry

Starting with a 3.5-inch diameter, this intake horn and driver's side intercooler pipe kit from Wehrli is built from heavy-duty 14-gauge aluminum. It's designed to replace the restrictive, failure-prone 3-inch plastic OEM intercooler pipe and the factory cast intake horn on your 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9L Cummins engine. The stock intake horn necks down significantly, limiting airflow, but this kit offers a full 3.5-inch mandrel-bent elbow for much better air delivery into the cylinder head.

This kit is a solid upgrade because it's designed to work seamlessly with the WCFAB Grid Intake spacer kit for optimal air entry, though it can also be used with the OEM grid heater or other aftermarket plates. The CNC-machined aluminum flange, which bolts directly to the cylinder head, includes two 1/8" NPT ports for boost reference gauges or water-methanol injection, plus an 8mm port for the factory wire harness clamp. It also features a threaded bung to securely hold your oil dipstick tube, keeping everything tidy and in its factory location. The intercooler pipe and intake horn are finished with a durable, custom powder coat in Illusion Blueberry.

You won't need to reuse any old, worn-out rubber boots or clamps because this kit comes complete with high-quality, 5-ply silicone boots and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for both connections. Installation is straightforward, requiring no tuning, and it offers about 60% greater flow than the stock setup. This kit replaces MOPAR part numbers 52028895AE, 52028895AC, 52028895AD, and 5086828AA.
