This kit swaps out the stock 3-inch plastic intercooler pipe for a beefy 14-gauge aluminum one, and the OEM intake horn, which necks down significantly, is replaced by a smooth, 3.5-inch mandrel-bent elbow. This elbow is welded to a CNC-machined aluminum flange that mates up perfectly with the cylinder head, and it's designed to work with the WCFAB Grid Intake spacer kit for even better air distribution. The flange also includes two 1/8" NPT ports for boost gauges or water-methanol injection, plus an 8mm port for the factory wire harness clamp and a bung for the oil dipstick tube, keeping everything securely in place.
