It's designed to replace the factory plastic passenger side intercooler pipe on your 2011-2016 Duramax LML engine, addressing a common weak point that can lead to boost leaks or failures under higher pressure.

The factory plastic pipe is a two-piece design that can split or blow off, especially if you're running more boost. This Wehrli pipe is made from strong 14-gauge aluminum and uses a single-piece construction to eliminate those potential failure points.
