Wehrli 17-19 Duramax L5P Stage 3 High Flow Bundle Kit - Bengal Red

Wehrli Custom Fabrication builds their intake kits in-house in the USA, and this Stage 3 High Flow Bundle for the 2017-2019 L5P Duramax in Bengal Red is their full-coverage solution. It addresses the intake tract, both intercooler pipes, and the down pipe in one purchase for your Silverado or Sierra HD.

The air intake side starts with a 4 in. aluminum pipe and fabricated air box enclosure housing a dry filter with Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter. The 4 in. intake horn -- over an inch larger than stock -- pulls air through the factory hood ram air duct. All piping uses 14 ga. aluminum with smooth mandrel bends. After the turbo, the 3 in. driver side intercooler pipe replaces the restrictive 2.5 in. factory two-piece, eliminating the resonator and middle boot joint. The 3.5 in. cold side pipe uses a CNC machined flange with a double o-ring seal and upgraded silicone boot to hold boost more reliably than the stock plastic piece. Every connection uses reinforced silicone boots and stainless t-bolt clamps rather than factory clip rings.

On the exhaust side, a 3.5 in. ceramic coated down pipe with pre-installed heat wrap replaces the crushed OEM part. It bolts to the DOC outlet and mates with the factory front pipe using the OEM 4-bolt flange. All sensor bungs are retained. No tuning is required for this bolt-on upgrade.
