It addresses the entire air intake tract -- from filter to engine -- without touching the exhaust side, saving over $196 compared to buying each component individually.

Cold Air Intake

A 4 in. aluminum intake pipe with enclosed air box and dry filter assembly replaces the restrictive factory plastic components. Cold air is drawn through the inner fender for cooler intake temperatures. The included Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter cover protects the MAF sensor and turbo from moisture and debris. Wehrli's 4.8 in. turbo intake horn -- the largest for this platform -- flows 20% better than stock and adds a deeper turbo sound under acceleration. All piping is 14 ga. aluminum with smooth mandrel bends.

Intercooler Piping

On the pressure side, the factory 2.5 in. hot side pipe and the leak-prone plastic/rubber cold side pipe are replaced with Wehrli's 3 in. hot side and 3.5 in. cold side one-piece aluminum pipes. The cold side alone flows 47% better than the factory piece. CNC machined flanges with double O-ring seals and upgraded silicone hump boots handle higher boost pressures and end the blown-boot failures that are common on these trucks.

Y-Bridge

Wehrli's 3 in. two-piece Y-bridge replaces the factory slip-fit design that tends to blow apart under boost. The bolt-together construction flows 36% better than stock with CNC billet flanges and mandrel bends providing a full 3 in. air path from intercooler to engine. Factory grid heater and EGR connections retained. No tuning needed -- bolts on with included hardware. Bengal Blue powder coat finish.
