BD Diesel ProTect68 Pressure Control Kit - Dodge 2007.5-2016 6.7L 68RFE Transmission

This BD Diesel ProTect68 Pressure Control Kit is designed to give your 68RFE transmission more strength, especially if you're running a stock transmission and want to handle more power. What you get in this kit is a pressure controller module, a custom bonded gasket valve body separator plate, heavy-duty accumulator plate, pan gasket, three doughnut seals, and a check ball. These components work together to substantially reduce cross leaks compared to stock setups, even when running higher line pressures. The goal here is to prevent clutch slippage and give your transmission more torque holding force.

The electronic pressure control module can deliver up to 250 PSI of clutch apply pressure, which translates to about 150% of the holding force of a stock transmission. This is achieved without needing to modify your transmission pump or remove the transmission itself, making installation much simpler. The controller also dynamically adjusts hydraulic apply pressures based on turbo boost and engine load, so it's working smarter, not just harder. A fresh stock transmission equipped with this kit can typically handle up to 400-450 horsepower.

Installation is estimated to take about 2 to 3 hours, and because no internal tolerances are changed, you won't need a full transmission relearn procedure, though a quick relearn is suggested. It's important to note that for higher power demands or more extreme use, a complete BD 68RFE transmission rebuild with additional clutches and redesigned components is recommended.
