DEI Exhaust Heat Shield Liner FXST/FLST

This kit gives you one pre-cut heat shield liner, designed to go inside your Vance & Hines Softail Duals head pipes. When you're riding, especially in slow traffic, the heat coming off your exhaust can get pretty uncomfortable, particularly if you have shorter legs. This liner works by fitting between the exhaust pipe and the outer heat shield, blocking heat transfer and lowering the surface temperature of that outer shield. The goal is to make your ride more comfortable without changing the look of your bike.

The liner itself is a dual-layer construction, combining aluminum with DEI's Dura 2000 insulating material. It's CNC cut to fit precisely within the heat shield, so it stays completely hidden once installed. This means you get the benefit of reduced heat radiating from the exhaust, which is especially noticeable when you stop and put your feet down, but the bike's appearance remains unchanged. Installation is straightforward and doesn't require any permanent modifications to your exhaust system.
