S&S Cycle 00-06 BT 4-3/8in Stroke Flywheel Assembly w/o Sprocket Shaft Bearing Race

This S&S Cycle flywheel assembly is built to replace the original flywheels in 2003 through 2006 Harley-Davidson internally balanced Big Twin engines. It's designed to increase the stroke from the stock 4 inches to a more substantial 4-3/8 inches, giving your engine a noticeable bump in displacement and torque. This assembly is specifically for engines that use a Timken sprocket shaft bearing and does not come with a stock-style bearing race pressed on.

You're getting a well-built assembly that's trued to less than .0005 inches of runout on the pinion and sprocket shaft bearing surfaces, which means it's ready for higher RPMs and fully compatible with gear drive cams. The flywheels themselves are CNC machined from heat-treated, closed-die steel forgings, making them significantly stronger than stock steel flywheels. S&S has fully assembled this unit with their heavy-duty 7.667-inch connecting rods, featuring full-width wrist pin ends, and it's dynamically balanced for smooth operation. The design minimizes joints, with the only connections being where the 1.671-inch diameter connecting rod crankpin is pressed into the flywheels. Both the pinion and sprocket shafts are forged as part of the flywheel assembly, and the pinion shaft includes provisions to drive the balancer chain.
