This flywheel assembly from S&S Cycle gives you a complete, ready-to-install unit for your 2000-'06 Big Twin engine. You get the flywheels, which have the pinion and sprocket shafts forged directly into them, along with S&S heavy-duty connecting rods. The assembly is designed to replace your original flywheels and is specifically for crankcases that use a Timken sprocket shaft bearing. The pinion shaft is also set up to drive the balancer chain, making this a comprehensive drivetrain upgrade.

What sets this assembly apart is its robust construction and precision balancing. The flywheels are CNC machined from heat-treated, closed die steel forgings, making them significantly stronger than stock. They're trued to less than .0005" runout on the critical pinion and sprocket shaft bearing surfaces, which is important for higher RPM operation and compatibility with gear drive cams. The assembly includes S&S heavy-duty connecting rods, which are well-built with full-width wrist pin ends and are dynamically balanced along with the flywheels. This ensures smooth operation and durability under demanding conditions. The design minimizes joints, with the only connection being where the large diameter crankpin is pressed into the flywheels.
