S&S Cycle 2007+ BT 4-5/8in Stroke Flywheel Assembly w/o Sprocket Shaft Bearing Race

S&S Cycle is well-known for building high-performance engine components for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This 4-5/8 inch stroke flywheel assembly is a prime example of their commitment to power and durability, designed to replace the original flywheels in a wide range of Big Twin models from 2007 and up, including popular bikes like the Harley-Davidson Road King, Street Glide, and Fat Boy. It's also a key part of the S&S 124" Hot Set Up Kit, indicating its role in significant engine upgrades.

What sets this assembly apart is its construction. The flywheels are CNC machined from heat-treated, closed die steel forgings, making them 114 percent stronger than stock steel flywheels. This robust construction is crucial for handling the increased stresses of higher RPMs and more powerful engines. The assembly comes fully put together with S&S heavy-duty 7.667 inch connecting rods, featuring full width wrist pin ends for added strength. The only joints in the entire assembly are where the 1.671 inch diameter crankpin is pressed into the flywheels, a design that minimizes potential failure points. Both the pinion and sprocket shafts are forged as part of the flywheel itself, ensuring a solid, integrated unit. This three-piece design is specifically intended for crankcases that use a Timken sprocket shaft bearing, and the assembly is trued to less than .0005" runout on the bearing surfaces, making it fully compatible with gear drive cams and capable of higher engine speeds.
