This assembly features S&S High Strength Connecting Rods, developed using Finite Element Analysis to eliminate weak spots and manage increased power. Constructed from heat-treated 4140 material, these rods are significantly stronger than stock. The full-width wristpin design, which requires S&S Performance Pistons, and the balancing specifically for S&S Performance pistons (1213g) ensure consistent operation. This robust construction means you won't need to weld the crankpin, and it's capable of higher RPMs, unlocking more available power from your engine. This flywheel assembly is a perfect match for S&S 131 kits and comes with the balance gear already installed. It's designed for a range of Harley-Davidson models, including the Road King, Street Glide, and Fat Boy, among others.
