Starting with the heat-treated, closed die steel forgings, these S&S Cycle flywheel assemblies are CNC machined for precision. This means they're stronger than the original cast iron or even later steel flywheels you might find. They're built for S&S 80" SH80 engines using alternator-style crankcases, specifically for 1970 through 1984 Harley-Davidson Big Twins. You'll find these fit a range of models like the Electra Glide Sport, Tour Glide, and Low Rider.

These assemblies come fully balanced and are already put together with premium S&S mainshafts and heavy-duty 7.440" connecting rods. This makes installation more straightforward, as much of the critical assembly work is already done. They can also be used in 88" engines if you're running 3-5/8" bore cylinders, giving you some flexibility in your build.
