It connects the turbocharger to the intercooler, and the factory piece can be a bit restrictive. This upgraded pipe is designed to let more air through, which can help improve power and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).

This means the air flows more easily without sharp turns, helping to increase air velocity.
