This product includes a pair of ICON 2.5 Series VS RR CDCV rear shock absorbers, specifically tuned for the 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma. These shocks are built to handle demanding off-road conditions while also providing a comfortable ride on the street, offering a significant upgrade over stock suspension components.

ICON constructs these shocks with one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders, which are lighter and more resistant to corrosion than traditional steel. The 2.5-inch diameter bodies house a 7/8-inch induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft and a nitrogen-charged monotube design for consistent damping. A key feature is the internal "Bump Zone" within the remote reservoir, which adds 20% more damping force as the shock nears full compression, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs. Furthermore, the integrated CDC Valve allows you to externally adjust the compression damping across 10 distinct levels with a simple turn of a knob, letting you fine-tune the suspension to your driving needs and load conditions.

These shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, meaning you can service them to maintain performance over time or adjust the damping characteristics further. They utilize premium 5WT shock oil to ensure consistent performance across a wide range of temperatures, reducing the likelihood of shock fade during extended use, especially when paired with the remote reservoir design that aids in heat dissipation. The package also includes application-specific mounting hardware and PTFE-lined spherical bearings for smooth, precise suspension movement.
