ICON's 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are built to give your 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are specifically tuned for your Tacoma's rear suspension, considering both length and damping characteristics to match the 6-inch lift application. The one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders are lighter than traditional steel, offer better corrosion resistance, and provide a more uniform finish. They are also 100% rebuildable and revalveable, meaning you can service them for years to come.

A notable feature is ICON's internal "Bump Zone" within the remote reservoir system. This unique design, using a 6061 billet aluminum manifold, increases damping force by an additional 20% as the shock nears full compression. This helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and keeps your suspension controlled during high-velocity compressions. Furthermore, the ICON CDC Valve technology allows you to externally adjust the compression damping through 10 distinct levels with a simple turn of a knob, letting you fine-tune your ride for different conditions.

These shocks feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design for consistent damping and a remote reservoir to help dissipate heat, reducing shock fade during extended use. They also include a 7/8-inch diameter induction hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft and PTFE-lined spherical bearings for smooth operation. The package includes a pair of rear shocks, application-specific mounting hardware, and a premium grade 5WT shock oil for reliable performance across a wide temperature range.
