You’ll also find ICON’s internal “Bump Zone” which adds about 20% more damping force as the shock compresses fully, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs on big impacts. Plus, the external CDC Valve lets you dial in your compression damping across 10 different levels with a simple turn of a knob, so you can fine-tune the ride for different conditions or loads. These shocks are built to last, featuring a durable 1026 DOM steel body with a protective CAD plating for corrosion resistance, and CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components. They use premium 5WT shock oil to ensure consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures. As with most ICON shocks, these are fully rebuildable and revalveable, meaning you can service them and update the valving down the road if your needs change.
