The piggyback reservoir design is key here, as it helps dissipate heat, reducing shock fade during extended use, like long off-road trails or aggressive driving.

ICON builds these shocks with a 10026 DOM steel body that's CAD plated for durability and corrosion resistance, topped with CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components. Inside, a one-piece digressive piston works with vehicle-specific valving to provide a notable improvement in both on-road comfort and off-road capability. A unique feature is the internal 'Bump Zone' within the piggyback manifold, which adds about 20% more damping force as the shock nears full compression. This helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and keeps your suspension under control during high-speed compressions.

These shocks are also fully rebuildable and revalveable, meaning you can service them yourself or have them tuned to your specific needs down the road. They use premium 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range and feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design.
