ICON 2014+ Ram 2500 2.5in Front 2.5 Series Shocks VS RR CDEV - Pair

The 6061-billet aluminum manifold on these ICON 2.5 Series shocks is a smart design choice. It's positioned a few inches below the top cap, creating what ICON calls an internal “Bump Zone.” When the suspension compresses hard, this zone kicks in to add about 20% more damping force. This helps prevent those jarring bottom-outs and keeps your suspension controlled during high-speed compressions, which is especially useful when you're pushing your 2014-2022 Ram 2500 off-road.

These shocks are built specifically for your Ram 2500, meaning the length and damping tune are already set for optimal performance. The remote reservoir design helps dissipate heat, reducing shock fade during extended use, like long off-road trails or heavy towing. Plus, the CDEV (Compression Damping Electronic Valve) upgrade lets you electronically adjust the compression damping right from inside your vehicle. This valve can react in less than 40 milliseconds, making precise adjustments for changing terrain. The system uses an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope, along with user settings, to predict terrain and automatically adjust the shocks via the CDEV.

You can also rebuild and re-tune these shocks yourself, extending their lifespan. They feature a one-piece, hard anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinder for good corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. The 7/8-inch diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft is strong, and PTFE-lined spherical bearings ensure smooth movement.
