ICON's 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are built with one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders. This construction not only makes them lighter than traditional steel cylinders but also offers better corrosion resistance and a more uniform finish. These rear shocks are specifically tuned for the 2014-2018 Ram 2500, aiming to give you outstanding performance when you're off the beaten path and a smooth ride on the street.

The design includes an internal "Bump Zone" within the piggyback reservoir. This feature increases damping force by 20% as the shock nears full compression, which helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and keeps the suspension controlled during high-velocity compressions. The shocks use a nitrogen-charged monotube design and are filled with premium 5WT shock oil to ensure consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures. Since they are 100% rebuildable and revalveable, you can maintain them for long-term use.

This pair of rear shocks is designed to work with a 2-inch lift on your Ram 2500. They feature PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware for a direct fit. The 7/8-inch diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft adds durability. ICON also includes double-sealed Schrader caps to protect the valve stems.
