ICON's Stage 3 system for the 2017-2021 Ford Raptor goes beyond what most bolt-on suspension kits offer, thanks to a thoughtfully engineered replacement leaf spring pack that solves a real problem with the factory setup.

A Smarter Leaf Spring Design

ICON engineers found during testing that the factory Raptor rear leaf springs were on the stiff side for smaller, choppier terrain -- the kind you actually encounter most of the time. So they developed a replacement multi-rate leaf pack with a slightly lighter base spring rate that smooths out those sharp impacts and adds droop travel. The ride improvement in choppy terrain is noticeable.

But here is the clever part: ICON includes an additional leaf that can be exchanged or added to the pack, giving you either 20% or 40% more spring rate depending on how you configure it. Running a bunch of aftermarket armor, a roof rack loaded with gear, and a full-size spare? Add the extra leaf. Running a lighter setup? Leave it out. It is user-adjustable to match your build.

Reduced Axle Wrap, Better Durability

Beyond ride quality, ICON's leaf pack significantly reduces axle wrap -- that harsh bucking sensation when the rear end loads up and unloads under power on rough terrain. The result is a smoother, more controlled ride that is also easier on drivetrain components.

Stage 3 Includes 3.0 Series Bypass Shocks

The rear gets ICON's 3.0 Series bypass shocks, which provide position-sensitive damping. Combined with the adjustable leaf pack, you have a rear suspension that is genuinely tunable for your specific setup and driving style.
