ICON replaces these with hydraulic bump stops that progressively absorb energy as the suspension reaches full compression. The Hardware to Support It

The hydraulic bump stop kit does not just bolt to the factory mounts. ICON includes heavy-duty steel clamshell brackets, a billet aluminum frame crossmember, and adjustable tension rods. This additional structure increases chassis rigidity in the area where it matters most -- where the rear suspension loads up hardest.
