They are designed to give your truck or SUV outstanding performance when you're off-road and a smooth ride when you're back on pavement.

These shocks feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design with a piggyback reservoir. The piggyback reservoir helps dissipate heat, which reduces shock fade during extended use, especially important when you're pushing your vehicle hard. ICON uses a unique internal “Bump Zone” within the piggyback manifold. This feature adds about 20% more damping force as the shock nears full compression, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs and maintain control during high-velocity suspension movements. The one-piece, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders offer good corrosion resistance, and the 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components are CNC machined for a precise fit. The 7/8-inch diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft is built for durability. Inside, a one-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving ensures a consistent and responsive feel, whether you're on the trail or the highway. Premium 5WT shock oil is used to maintain consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures.

These ICON shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable, meaning you can service and tune them for years to come. They also come with PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware to ensure a proper fit. If you're looking to fine-tune the damping further, these shocks can be upgraded with ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV).
