They're built specifically for these trucks to give you better performance when you're hitting trails and a more comfortable ride when you're just cruising around town. These are secondary shocks, meaning they work in conjunction with your primary shocks to provide even more control and damping, especially for long travel applications.

ICON builds these shocks with a one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinder that holds up well against corrosion and keeps a clean look. Inside, they use a digressive piston with valving tuned specifically for your vehicle, which helps deliver a consistent feel whether you're on pavement or bouncing over rocks. The remote reservoir design is key here; it helps dissipate heat, reducing the chance of your shocks fading during long, hard runs. Plus, ICON includes what they call an internal “Bump Zone” in these piggyback reservoir shocks. As the shock compresses fully, this Bump Zone kicks in to add about 20% more damping force, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs and keep your suspension under control when it's working the hardest.

They are 100% rebuildable and revalveable, meaning you can refresh them down the road or even tune them further if you change your setup. They use premium 5WT shock oil to ensure consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures, and the 7/8” diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft is tough. All the CNC machined components are made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, and they come with PTFE lined spherical bearings for smooth operation and application-specific mounting hardware to ensure they fit right.
